TERMS & CONDITIONS:

PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED AT TIME OF BOOKING TO SECURE YOUR PLACE

Slip leads, electric shock collars, spray collars, half check collars, pronged collars or any device that causes discomfort, pain or fear are not acceptable and will not be tolerated. We will not tolerate any abusive behaviour towards dogs or humans alike. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the course with immediate effect and without refund if we deem any behaviour unacceptable.

PAYMENT

With signing-up for any services provided The Scent Hub UK, payment is expected to secure your space on any course, 121, event or workshop. If not done so, The Scent Hub UK reserves the right to refuse participation in the service you have signed up for. In addition, until fully paid for no place is confirmed and therefore can be open to others taking that place if they agree, sign up and pay first. It’s “first come first served”.

Fees and prices are subject to change without notice. Price at time of booking applies.

All services/courses/workshops must be prepaid. No admittance will be allowed unless the course fee has been paid in full.

CANCELLATIONS

• Group and 1-2-1’s courses are not held over or rescheduled. They are a fixed length.

• If you cancel a complete course or with more than 2 weeks notice from the start date, you will receive a refund minus a £20 administration fee.

• Course cancellation less than 2 weeks notice, refund minus £20 admin fee is at The Scent Hub UK’s discretion.

• We will not refund any cancellations or missed sessions once a course has started.

• Cancellation of event or workshop. A refund given only if your place can be sold.

• Refunds are made by bank transfer and not cash.

• The Scent Hub UK has no control over the weather. If you feel you can’t attend due to the weather and the session is still going ahead, you will forfeit that training session.

• COVID May disrupt training. We have to follow Government guidelines at all times.

• The Scent Hub UK reserve the right to amend, reschedule or cancel training. This may be due to many factors including Covid, weather, illness or unforeseen circumstances.

• The Scent Hub UK will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising from amendments to the course or cancellations

THE TRAINER/ORGANISER WILL DETERMINE THE LENGTH OF THE EVENT/SESSION

Based on the physical, psychological and cognitive capability of each dog. The trainer will act in the best interest of the dog and can therefore order a rest for a dog or put a halt on further training sessions. If the participant is late for the event/service, it is their own responsibility and the trainer/organiser will not stop/pause the event/service because of this. The participant is not eligible to make up for any missed hours/days or get a reduction of cost because of such.

HEALTH OF DOGS

Only healthy dogs are allowed to participate in any event that The Scent Hub UK is offering. The participant ensures that the dog is free of diseases and agrees that should their dog be found to have any contagious disease such as Kennel Cough shortly after participating in anything organised, hosted or run by The Scent Hub UK, to let the organiser know at the earliest opportunity so that other course participants can be informed. If a bitch comes into or is in season, the event/service organiser has to be informed. If a dog falls ill shortly before or during the event/service, the trainer/organiser is to be informed immediately to discuss further action and prevent a possible disease from spreading.

BITCHES IN HEAT WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO TRAIN.

KENNEL COUGH PROTOCOL

Kennel Cough is a highly contagious canine illness and causes inflammation of the upper respiratory system. YOUR DOG MUST NOT ATTEND TRAINING if their symptoms include a harsh dry hacking cough, retching, sneezing, snorting, gagging or vomiting. You should isolate your dog for around 14 days. To protect our clients you can not attend training for 3 weeks (21 days). Your dog can not attend training if it lives with or been in contact with an infected dog.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

The participation in any events/services offered by The Scent Hub UK is at your own risk. The participant is fully liable for any damages/harm done by either themselves, their dogs or the people that came with them. The Scent Hub UK and the organiser/s and trainer/s, instructor/s do not take any responsibility for any damage/harm done to a person/s or a thing/s (e.g. buildings, cars, dogs, personal belongings etc.). The participant takes the full responsibility for his/her dog/s.

You are fully responsible for your own and your dogs` actions. The Scent Hub UK cannot be asked to take over any costs for damage or harm done to you or your dog/s. The Scent Hub UK takes all reasonable precautions within the structure of our training sessions/workshops/courses to avoid injury resulting from dog bites. The Scent Hub UK accepts no responsibility for damage or injury resulting from dog bites occurring to clients or their dogs while attending training sessions/seminars/courses/workshops/121’s or any other forms of training offered. The Control of Dogs Act 1986 section 21 – “Liability of owner for damage by Dog” applies within our classes/seminars/workshops/trainings/introduction courses or any other training offered by The Scent Hub UK and on our premises or public premises (rented from a third party or owned).

All instances of accident or injury must be reported to the dog trainer/instructor at the time they occurred.

All the copyright is reserved by The Scent Hub UK This includes material, videos, pictures, texts, etc. Information in any form, provided during an event/service, in its original form or modified, can only be used/published with written consent from The Scent Hub UK. Voice recordings and videos of any event/service have to be permitted by The Scent Hub UK.
