Before You Book – Please Read

We’re committed to kind, effective, science-based training that’s fun for you and your dog. To keep things safe, fair, and running smoothly, here’s what you need to know:

Positive Training Only

We do not allow slip leads, prong collars, half-check collars, shock collars, spray collars, or anything that causes discomfort or fear. We’ll stop a session immediately if we see these used or if anyone behaves abusively towards people or dogs — no refunds in this case.

Payment & Booking

  • Payment is due when you book — your space isn’t secured until then.

  • All courses, workshops, and 1:1 sessions must be prepaid.

  • Prices can change, but the price at the time you book is the one you pay.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancel more than 14 days before the start: refund minus £20 admin fee.

  • Less than 14 days: refund (minus £20) is at our discretion.

  • No refunds for missed sessions or cancellations once a course has started.

  • Events/workshops: refund only if we can resell your place.

  • We may reschedule/cancel due to weather, illness, or other circumstances — we’re not responsible for costs caused by this.

Health & Safety

  • Dogs must be healthy and free from contagious illness.

  • If your dog has kennel cough or has been in contact with it, they can’t attend for 21 days.

  • Bitches in heat are not allowed in classes/events.

  • You’re responsible for your dog’s behaviour and safety at all times.

Aggression & Muzzles

  • You must tell us before booking if your dog is aggressive or reactive.

  • We may require a muzzle for safety.

Events & Public Demos

  • Taking part in public events (like DogFest) is at your own risk.

  • You’re responsible for your dog’s welfare in busy environments.

Liability

  • You are responsible for your dog and any damage or injury they cause.

  • We are not liable for injury to your dog unless caused by our negligence.

  • Please make sure your dog has third-party liability insurance.

Photography & Media

We may take photos/videos for promotional purposes — let us know before your session if you don’t want to be included.

Intellectual Property

All materials, course content, and website copy are our property and may not be copied, shared, or altered without written permission.

By booking, you confirm you’ve read and agree to our full Terms & Conditions as well as the summary above. You acknowledge that all training materials, course content, images, videos, and website copy are protected by copyright, and agree not to reproduce, share, or adapt any of our content without prior written permission. These copyright terms apply to all visitors, clients, and third parties, whether or not a booking is made.
